More than 15 years of sound experience in the industry where her debut step in this longstanding journey began during her schooling period at C.W.W Kannangara College, Borella. At school she has been the versatile personality in every school activity where she showed her inborn talents and skills of being a promising star. At initial stage of her career she moved her feet to the rhythm of drums, under the committed coaching of Widyarathne Fernando.
She further found herself forward with the association and under the guidance of Rajini Selvanayagam and Channa Wijewardane. Even today she reminisces vividly her memorable days where she exposes her self to her most desiring field.
Moving further this beautician paid her focus on bridal dressing and beauty culture. Superb guidance and instructions of Gamini Panditharathne helped her a lot in making her journey ahead.
In 1999, she was selected to represent the Sri Lanka at Kieler Woche Annual Cultural Show in Germany -
under Channa Wijewardane’s guidance. It was 10 days show where many representatives from several countries participate and she made a remarkable presence there as a solo artist. Tour was sponsored by Sri Lanka Tourists Board and Sri Lankan Air Line.
As far as her foreign exposure is concerned she has visited Karachi- Pakistan , Hyderabad, Delhi - India, Kuala- Lumpur- Malaysia, Berlin- Germany, Tokyo- Japan, Singapore, Dubai etc.
